The Drum @ Cannes Lions 2018

The Drum returns to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to bring you content, connections and conversations. From uncovering the paradox of purpose, to understanding the impact of new technologies, to looking into the future of creativity and indeed industries like TV and adtech, our series of stimulating debates will bring together compelling speakers and ideas. And one very special guest – due to be revealed shortly.

Join us on a board the Boat FCB, to chat with brands and agencies. And when you’ve had enough of rosé come to the Drum Arms pub and participate in roundtables and conversations over a pint.

Interested in visiting us? The agenda is as follows:

(more to be announced)

Monday

Footie at the pub, of course!

A global influential CMO takes stage with The Drum to talk leadership and the changing role of CMOs in the era of unease and unrest.

Tuesday

A surprise to be announced…

Wednesday

Melissa Waggener Zorkin, CEO & president of WE Worldwide will assess the role of purpose. In an age of authenticity, consumers are increasingly expecting brands to not only behave in a transparent manner – but also communicate their core values and what they stand for clearly. The panel will explore some of these issues as well as how to bring ‘brand purpose to life’ and whether purpose can be balanced with both short term and long-term business goals.

Creativity, ambition, purpose, storytelling. B2B brands will discuss just that at the Creativity Festival with The FT and gyro.

Thursday

Think of THE adman that we all want at our dinner party – name to be unveiled soon. Coming soon at the Drum Arms!

Wunderman and BT will examine the issues around digital transformation, what that means and how businesses of the future can get ‘future ready’. And what do we need to get there? More technology, better creativity, new skills?

Party at the Drum Arms

There is so much more to come. Big names to be revealed in the next few weeks.

Register now to attend.
