Crayola chooses Southwest Media Group as AOR for indoor experience in Plano

Dallas-based agency Southwest Media Group has been named strategic media planning and buying agency for the brand’s 'Crayola Experience' in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Crayola Experience opens up its fourth location in Plano, TX and chooses Southwest Media Group as its AOR.

Crayola's attraction, which lives in a 60,000-square-foot indoor facility, will provide dozens of hands-on creative activities for all ages and opens in Willow Bend, Texas in Spring 2018.

Crayola also has arts and crafts theme parks in its hometown of Easton, Pennsylvania, plus Orlando, Florida, and at Minnesota’s Mall of America in Bloomington.

“Crayola Experience is a dynamic, colorful and larger-than-life attraction, and for that we needed an equally dynamic partner,” said senior vice president and general manager of Crayola Attractions and Retail Victoria Lozano. “We chose Southwest Media Group not only for their deep knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth media and strategic approach to the project, but also because their creative culture was a strong match for our culture at Crayola.”
