Pfizer China has appointed Leo Burnett Shanghai as its strategic creative agency for Viagra as it hopes to increase brand awareness of the product in China.

The appointment marks a milestone for Viagra as the brand has almost never done any creative campaigns to market the product in China, due to the strict marketing policies for prescription medicines.

Premiership Rugby has appointed Promote PR to help launch a grassroots campaign targeting under-represented groups.

The appointment of the specialist sports PR agency – whose current clients include the RFU, the ECB, England Athletics and British Rowing – followed a three-way pitch.

Carlsberg has given Grey London the global advertising account for lager brand Tuborg. The pitch was handled directly by Carlsberg.

Grey London has been briefed with launching a new global, multi-platform brand campaign in 2018, which will to look to continue its long-standing foundation in music. Last year Tuborg partnered with the global music trio Major Lazor, and local artists within key markets around the world to encourage drinkers to explore and discover new global music.

Beauty retailer Crabtree & Evelyn has hired London advertising agency The Corner as its new global creative agency following a competitive pitch.

The appointment comes as Crabtree & Evelyn prepares to overhaul its branding. The Corner will be creating a number of films to support the launch of the new global website, as well as brand campaigns in the run up to and including Christmas.

Lego has appointed VML as the digital agency of record for Legoland Malaysia Resort. The scope of the appointment will be for a period of one year, with immediate effect.

VML’s mandate includes handling all aspects of Legoland Malaysia Resort’s digital marketing. This includes analytics and reporting, as well as campaign ideation, creative and video content development, and ongoing social media management.

Hotel chain W London’s Leicester Square branch has appointed WickerWood as its communications agency after a competitive five-way pitch. The account was previously held by W Communications.

The partnership will see WickerWood develop media, digital and influence strategies to primarily connect the hotel with the Soho community and launch a new beverage & food offering following a complete redesign of its bar and lounge spaces.

Insect-centric science and art festival, Pestival, has appointed Now to handle its brand positioning, planning and communications. Pestival, now in its ninth year, will take place in Royal Kensington Gardens in May/June 2018, before going on a national tour.

Ice cream brand Oppo has appointed The Clerkenwell Brothers as its retained consumer PR agency.

Intralink – an international market expansion company specialising in high-growth Asian countries – has hired TK Associates as its comms agency.

Intralink was established in 1990, but hasn’t focused its attention on its own marketing. As a result, its expertise in East Asia aren’t widely known. TK Associates have been hired to build long-term brand reputation.

Pacha Soap Co, makers of Pacha and Amazi soap brands, has chosen Colle McVoy as its agency of record. The agency will lead strategic planning, creative, design, media planning and buying, retail design, social media, PR and influencer marketing to grow the brands and support the company’s 'buy to give' mission.
