Fox is tapping into the ever popular Marvel super heroes with its new TV show Legion, and to generate buzz around the launch, the broadcaster hosted a London Mutant Lounge where the bar staff demonstrate super human feats.

Telekinetic and pyrokinetic superpowers were exhibited by unique bar staff looking to recreate some of the powers on display in Legion which features characters inspired by Marvel’s X-Men comic strips.

Attending the launch event was a line of celebs including Jonathan Ross, Bianca Gascoigne, Pascal Craymer, DJ Tim Westwood, Akin Solanke-Caulker and Sandi Bogle although the lounge was open to the public for two days where they were given a preview of the pilot episode.

Produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television, the show boasts executive producer Noah Hawley, who served the same role on Emmy and Golden Globe-winning TV series Fargo.

Legion premieres on Fox on Thursday 9 February at 9pm in the UK.
