Nelson will oversee a restructured marketing division that consists of branded content division Vox Creative, premium digital marketplace Concert, revenue streams such as ad revenue share deals with platforms like Facebook, ad partnerships, as well as its external marketing efforts.

As part of the changes Armando Turco will join as the first general manager of Vox Creative. Meanwhile Ryan Pauley has been promoted from executive director of revenue operations, to VP of revenue operations and general manager of Concert.

Concert launched last year as a byproduct of NBCUniversal’s $200 million investment in Vox in 2015, which sees both companies sell each other's ad space.

In May Vox appointed its first chief financial officer in Stephen Swad, formerly president, CEO and a director of Rosetta Stone Inc, while Susan Decker joined the executive board.
