Deliveroo drivers to sport Manor Racing branding as part of partnership with Formula One team

Deliveroo drivers will have bespoke Manor Racing branding

Formula One team Manor Racing has signed up Deliveroo for the final edition of its featured sponsor campaign, the ‘Fast Companies Series’.

The series spotlights some of the most entrepreneurial challenger brands shaping the future with a one-off sponsorship deal for a Grand Prix Weekend, giving brands the opportunity to test the marketing waters of Formula One’s global reach.

This weekend’s season finale at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix sees the food delivery service star in the final edition of the British racing team’s marketing campaign.

As part of the promotion around the partnership Deliveroo riders operating on the streets of Dubai will have bespoke Manor Racing branding on their helmets and one Deliveroo rider will also gain behind the scenes access at the race weekend. Additionally, a discount of AED30 will be offered to customers on every first order.

Leonard Picardo, director of international marketing, Delivero said: “Deliveroo partnering with Manor Racing is a wonderful opportunity for our brand. Manor Racing is the right team to engage with our customers in the UAE and beyond this weekend, as both businesses share the desire for innovation with the focus on speed.”

Simon Pavitt, marketing director, Manor Racing added: “We want to shine a spotlight onto some of the most entrepreneurial brands which are shaping the future and Deliveroo is doing just that as the 2.0 delivery service.

“This partnership is the perfect example of two home-grown British brands looking to new heights and teaming up to take on the world and compete on an international level.”

Deliveroo branding will also feature on the rear wings of the Manor Racing cars at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit.
