An engaging, creative and universally loved presence at the agency, Martin joined Yucca in 2006 before it was acquired by Bray Leino five years later. In that time, he grew the agency to a team of 57 working on over £1m of business across clients including Clarks Silverstone Circuits, Hoburne Holiday Parks, Howies and Motability.

Within the Bray Leino business, Martin championed a more diverse workforce that saw his business bring people through an apprenticeship scheme into full-time employment at the agency. He was a respected voice in Bristol’s creative scene, ensuring that Bray Leino sponsored events and supported talent in the area.

A statement from Bray Leino on Martin’s death reads: "It is with deep sadness that we can confirm the managing director and founder of Bray Leino Yucca Ben Martin has passed away. This is a desperately sad time for his friends and family, both in the business and outside it, and our thoughts and best wishes go to all the people who know and love Ben. We will comment further in coming days, but for now our focus is on helping our people come to terms with this tragedy."
