She joins from Cisco, where she served as senior director of global advertising, media & sponsorships, a position she left in March of this year, according to her LinkedIn profile.

In her new role, she will be tasked with overseeing marketing for the agency and developing a strategy that communicates the value of GS&P to clients, prospective clients and employees. Her appointment comes on the back of a number of client wins for the agency, including StubHub and the Golden State Warriors. GS&P also recently promoted Margaret Johnson to chief creative officer and Derek Robson to president.

According to GS&P, Mee has worked with the agency as a client-side marketer during stints at Cisco, HP and Yahoo. Most recently, she collaborated with GS&P to create Cisco’s ‘Internet of Everything’ campaign.

“Julia has been one of our best clients, and in each of her jobs, she’s advocated for us better than we’ve advocated for ourselves,” said Robson in a statement. “Julia brings clarity about the changing landscape of our industry and a perspective to the company that we’ve never had. All of that experience adds up to an exceptional leader who will no doubt contribute immensely to the future growth of GS&P.”
