The Marketing Can Change the World Awards names Cindy Gallop, Bo Hellberg and TMW's Chris Pearce on the inaugural judging panel

The Marketing Can Change the World Awards, part of The Drum's forthcoming Do It Day event in November, will include Cindy Gallop, owner of IfWeRanTheWorld, Edelman executive creative director Bo Hellberg and TMW chief executive Chris Pearce among the judging panel.

The awards, created to recognise the impact that the marketing services industry has on society and the world at large, will feature categories such as Good Cause of the Year, Individual of the Year, Best Use of Technology, Best Stunt or Live Event, CSR Strategy of the Year and the Do It Day Achievement Award.

The current list of judges are:

  • Paul Armstrong, owner, Here Forth
  • Nick Jones, head of corporate responsibility and digital communications, Visa
  • Chris Pearce, chief executive, TMW
  • Jane Asscher, founding partner and chief executive, 23 RED
  • Bo Hellberg, executive creative director, Edelman
  • Thomas Kolster, Mr Goodvertising, author, speaker and critic
  • Laura Pattison, marketing and communications director, Jeans for Genes
  • Paulina Lezama, head of brand strategy, Radley Yeldar
  • Cindy Gallop, owner, Ifwerantheworld
  • Jane Evans, owner, Invizibles
  • Wayne Deakin, executive creative director, AKQA
  • Nick Giles, co-founder, We Are Seven Hills
  • Liz Lowe, corporate responsibility and sustainability manager, Coca-Cola
  • Samantha Frankel, Media Trust

Further names may yet join the panel, with the nominations set to be announced on 21 October. Final entries are still being accepted for the first year of the awards until the end of September.
