The Drum has launched episode three of Everything You Need to Know – About Content Marketing, in association with PulsePoint, a video series designed to give marketers all the essential information they need about this hot industry topic in an under-three-minute video.

It is the second series of Everything You Need to Know, developed by The Drum to provide marketers with an easy introduction to the latest technologies, techniques and thinking in the industry.

The second episode, Distribution and How to Maximize Investment, is focused on how brands can most effectively find an audience for their content.

It discusses the integrated roles of earned, earned and paid channels, and options such as content discovery networks like Outbrain and the rise of branded content operations from major publishers.

Episode 3 also explores how programmatic technology is enabling content to be distributed on a one-to-one basis at scale.

The next episode will take a look at engagement and measuring effectiveness of content marketing campaigns.
