The Drum has launched Everything You Need to Know – About Content Marketing, a video series designed to give marketers all the essential information they need about this hot industry topic in an easy to digest under-three-minute video.

It is the second series of Everything You Need to Know, a series developed by The Drum to give agency execs and brand marketers an easy intro to the latest technologies, techniques and thinking in the industry.

EYNTK ‘s aim is to provide marketers with a way to find out everything they need to know about each crucial subject in one short film, something they can watch in the back of a taxi on the way to their next crucial meeting on the subject.

Which is why it's filmed in the back of a London taxi.

The Drum has partnered with programmatic platform PulsePoint for Everything You Need to Know -About Content Marketing, a series of short video primers and accompanying features. Episode one explores the meaning and value of content marketing, and how to set strategy.

The Content Marketing Association (CMA) claims the UK industry is worth an estimated £5.2bn a year, with budgets increasing at around 25% a year.

However, according to a Content Marketing Institute (CMI) survey, only a third of marketers investing in content marketing actually had a documented content marketing strategy.

Episode one of Everything You Need to Know -About Content Marketing aims to get marketers fully up to sped on the essentials of content marketing.

Everything You Need to Know is not designed to be the last definitive word on each subject. Instead, each film is intended to provide the essential information needed to fully understand each area.

Future episodes will cover areas including distribution, optimisation and measurement.
