Not-for-profit creative platform ADCAN has launched a competition for unsigned creative talent to help promote the causes behind charities and social enterprises.

The free-to-enter contest is back for the third time and now participants pick a brief from one of four charities and then create a 30-second film to help spread whatever caused they backed.

Those creatives that make the shortlist will then be given the chance to attend two days of workshops where they will be trained by ADCAN partners including producers like Partizan as well as production houses such as Rattling Stick. The competition will be settled at an awards ceremony hosted at renowned post-production house The Mill, where creatives share their views on some of the key issues affecting the industry.

ADCAN is a collective of top film and advertising industry executives that was founded by creative and production veterans, Dan Heighes, Brydon Gerus and Deborah Casswell, who wanted to find a way to help emerging talent break into the industry.
