180 Amsterdam wins TomTom account

Creative agency 180 Amsterdam has been appointed as global strategic and creative partner to technology brand TomTom, following a competitive pitch.

180 Amsterdam will help TomTom develop its strategy to grow across its different categories and creative platforms including retail and advertising.

The win is the first new partnership for 180 Amsterdam in 2016 and is the sixth new client in 12 months for the European agency.

Corinne Vigreux, managing director and founder of TomTom, said: “We have big ambitions for our brand and our business. 180 Amsterdam will play a key role as we continue to grow and broaden our consumer business. We're really excited to be working with 180 Amsterdam and can't wait to get going.”

Al Moseley, chief creative officer and president of 180 Amsterdam, commented: “TomTom is a business that has the ambition and personality that 180 Amsterdam loves. They have the type of challenges that our ‘180 Thinking’ is famous for helping solve.”

The first work created by 180 Amsterdam will launch in April 2016.
