PHD International names Toby Hack as chief executive

PHD International has named Toby Hack, managing director of PHD Australia as its new chief executive.

Based in London, Hack be tasked with overseeing and strengthening the International unit which works with global clients such as Unilever.

He previously spent five years at PHD Australia.

Hilary Jeffrey, president of PHD EMEA said, “Our international offering has grown significantly in the last few years as more and more clients see the value of global comms planning and the centralisation of certain services, such as search. The time is right to strengthen the team with more senior talent. Toby is a great media practitioner and team builder and the perfect candidate for this brand new role”.

Hack will report to Jeffrey in his new role, while Mark Jerrett, managing director of OMD Sydney will take over at PHD Australia in May.
