Twitter reveals exclusive Brit Award emojis featuring Justin Bieber and Coldplay

Twitter has teamed up with the Brit Awards to provide music fans with a suite of exclusive pop emojis.

Forming part of the social push ahead of the ceremony on 24 February, the icons feature a mixture of artists performing at, and attending, the event including Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Coldplay and James Bay.

The emoticon bundle marks Twitter's latest foray into the area. Last year it debuted Star Wars emojis ahead of the Force Awakens premiere, and rumours have been circulating that the social network is toying with the idea of replacing its 'like' heart icon with multi-emoji reactions.

Last year's Brit Awards drew record levels of engagement on social across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, clocking up 7.8 million tweets in total.
