PR giant Weber Shandwick has acquired Nashville-based marketing communications firm ReviveHealth to expand its healthcare B2B offerings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ReviveHealth, which also has offices in Minneapolis and California, specializes in the business of health systems, services and technology.

Interpublic Group’s Weber Shandwick, which specializes in a number of industries including financial services, government relations and technology, said in a statement announcing the acquisition that healthcare has been among one of its fastest-growing practice areas.

The acquisition will combine Weber Shandwick’s expertise in pharma, scientific communications and health public affairs with ReviveHealth’s more B2B-focused offerings in the healthcare space.

Andy Polansky, CEO of Weber Shandwick, said: “We’re extremely pleased to add another best-in-class firm that complements Weber Shandwick’s integrated service offerings and that adds specialized expertise our clients are seeking.”

Weber Shandwick has offices in 78 cities across 34 countries.
