Microsoft has temporarily suspended its battle for market supremacy against Apple by carolling outside the Californian giant’s New York flagship store.

Microsoft Store employees and a local NYC children’s youth choir featured in the ad, spreading a message of peace to Apple outside its 5th Avenue store.

A two minute iteration will be viewable online in addition to a 60 second cut first hitting US networks from 3 December.

Created by McCann's M:United, the slot sees the choir perform 'Let There Be Peace on Earth' to the public.
