Sports performance brand, Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition (BSN), has agreed an endorsement deal with one of sports fastest rising superstars, UFC athlete Conor McGregor.

The US sports nutrition and supplement company announced the partnership with the Irish mixed martial artist on Twitter.

BSN is the latest company to align itself with the 27 year-old, joining other names such Reebok, Monster Energy and Bud Light; all of whom have snapped up the fighter as a brand ambassador.

"I take my nutrition very, very seriously. You can't cut corners in this game. You must align yourself with the best in each field, and that is what I have done” said McGregor.

He added: "They are breaking barriers in their field and I am breaking barriers in my field. It's a partnership."

The company also released a 40-second ad to announce the deal which shows McGregor training with a voice over saying: “His opponents see the enemy, his countrymen see their brother. He’s been called a warrior, an artist, an icon of his sport."

The announcement was made just 11 days before McGregor’s biggest ever fight at UFC 194 which will see him take on undefeated Brazilian icon Jose Aldo.

The Irish fighter’s brand appeal has grown exponentially since his arrival on the UFC’s world stage just two years ago and has been boosted by public admiration from Hollywood stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Rock.
