Pepsi branded smartphone pops up

An official Pepsi branded smartphone has been officially unveiled by the soft drinks giant after it lent its backing to a crowd-funded smartphone in China.

The mooted Pepsi P1 will adopt the Android operating system and sports a 5.5 inch display along with a fingerprint reader and is available to pre-order today for the princely sum of $110.

For those unwilling to put down hard cash a raffle to win the device for just 1 yuan is also being offered although the odds of winning stand at just 500 to 1.

As you would expect the mobile comes replete with a plethora of Pepsi themed red, white and blue wallpapers to cement the connection to the Cola drink.
