ITV has revealed that fans of reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here” will be able to vote for free via a mobile app.

Throughout the series, which launches Sunday 15 November, users of the app can vote on who will face trials, who should stay and who will be crowned the King or Queen of the jungle in the series finale.

Additionally, the app will allow viewers to interact with each other by making real time predictions and give access to exclusive content including videos and behind the scenes gossip. Along with the app iOS users will be able to view live streaming stunts through Periscope.

Athena Witter, ITV’s executive producer believes “the interaction in the app, plus the ability to vote for free for the first time, will bring viewers even closer to the action.”

Social media will continue to be an important part of the programme with various platforms providing 24/7 exclusives as well as user generated content throughout the series.

The app will be available to both Android and iOS users.
