BMW has inked a deal with Deezer to give drivers direct access to the on-demand audio service's music library when they're on the road.

The Online Entertainment package, which is avaliable to users of the automaker's smart system, BMW ConnectedDrive, will allow customers to listen to content straight from the vehicle’s built-in Sim card.

Providing "limitless" access to Deezer's 35m songs, the partnership means music can also be synced for use in offline mode so drivers don't incur roaming charges during cross-country trips.

Owners of the brand's 7 Series models can also browse the streaming site for albums related to songs playing on their car radio and Deezer will come up with suggestions based on their listening habbits.

The agreement follows the brand's recent 'Driving Luxury' positioning, which placed emphasis on technology, integrated controls, and atmospheric lighting.
