AKQA NY bosses Rei Inamoto and Rem Reynolds in shock departure
AKQA Rei Inamoto and Rem Reynolds have both left the New York offices of agency unexpectedly.
The pair, who ran the U.S. presence of the WPP digital agency, are understood to have left the business suddenly today.
An agency statement read: "Rei Inamoto and Rem Reynolds are no longer with our New York office. International managing director Giles McCormack, who has been with AKQA for over seven years, will now lead the New York team.”
A source connected to the business however has eluded that the decision was taken not for the financial reasons as has been reported elsewhere.
Inamoto joined the business as global creative director in 2006 while Reynolds was promoted to general manager in 2013.
