Smartest in Media Competition final results: Has Mediacom, Zenith or MGOMD come top of the class?

Earlier this year Dennis Publishing-owned trivia website Mental_Floss launched a competition to find the most intelligent person working in the UK media agency sector.

As well as seeking the industry's biggest brainbox, the Smartest in Media challenge aimed to identify the most knowledgeable agency in the country through a series of online quizzes and a nationwide roadshow.

The Drum has been keeping track of the scoreboards each week,and now the final results have been revealed.

It was a double whammy for MediaCom which took the top spot agency wise and seen its global digital director Liam Brennan scoop first place in the individual leaderboard.

At number two was Patrick Dallip-Oppong from DWA, which was positioned ninth overall, and completing the top three for the individual rankings was ZenithOptimedia's Steven Palmer.

Close behind MediaCom in the agency category was MGOMD, while Zenith occupied number three.

With hundreds of entries coming in over the past few weeks, the smartest thinkers were revealed last night at the Experimental Cocktail Club in London. You can view all the leaderboards here.
