Pretty Little Liars and NFL preseason dominate Twitter TV reactions

In a way, last week marked the transition from summer to fall TV with the mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars and the real start of the NFL preseason.

According to our analytics partner Canvs, ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars drove 21% of all Twitter TV reactions last week (520,509 of 2,466,735) as fans learned A's true identity.

Football is also back, and while the NFL often has major offseason storylines, news surrounding Jets quarterback Geno Smith and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady gave fans will give fans extra fodder for the remainder of the summer.

- Over 40,000 fans expressed their excitement in the three hours leading up to the Season 6 summer finale of Pretty Little Liars.

- The PLL finale was the most crazy and the most loved of TV with 124,616 reactions and 87,648 reactions, respectively.

- The moment from 8:10 to 8:15 p.m. when A’s true identity was revealed drove the most social activity of the episode with 38,854 reactions out of 117,746 Tweets.
