A married BBC presenter has called on disgraced peer Lord Sewel to issue a formal retraction of claims he made during a drug fuelled romp with prostitutes that he’d slept with her.

Covert footage obtained by The Sun showed the former deputy speaker of the House of Lords boast that he’d once ‘f***ed’ the presenter ‘in the attic’, adding: “She was very young and it was very pleasant.”

The unnamed presenter ‘categorically’ denied the claims when contacted by The Times, saying: “I would like a retraction from Lord Sewel,” continuing. “This is a categorical denial. I do not want to say anything else, I do not want to give the story legs.”

Sewel was forced to resign from his post after conceding that he’d caused ‘pain and embarrassment’ to his family and colleagues after he was filmed snorting cocaine and cavorting in an orange bra and leather jacket whilst denigrating leading politicians including David Cameron and Boris Johnson.
