ZenithOptimedia snaps up DigitasLBi’s Mike Clear for head of production role

ZenithOptimedia has hired DigitasLBi’s Mike Clear as head of production at its specialist brand content and experience arm Newcast.

He will be tasked with leading the consultancy's original content production offering.

Clear was most recently head of branded content at DigitasLBi, where he worked with a variety of clients including Sony Xperia, Barclays, Carlsberg, and Cunard. Prior to this, he was responsible for the production of TV campaigns at Mother London for PG Tips and Diet Coke among others.

Commenting on the appointment, Newcast’s recently appointed managing director Christine Beardsell said: “Clear has a unique mix of creative production skills and a passion for media collaborations that will help take us into its next chapter of content creativity.”

Clear added that the new position would provide an "excellent" opportunity to help brands make content that people genuinely want to engage with by "bringing data insight, original production and media collaborations closer together".
