Leading investment crowdfunding platform, Crowdcube, which to date has raised more than £83m to fund innovative new businesses, is to launch its latest round of live pitch advertising through Birmingham-based advertising agency Chapter.

The dual-branded ad campaign will run in the press, poster sites and also online and will see brands such as Adzuna, Cake, Pavegen and Sugru feature alongside Crowdcube to promote their upcoming round of investment.

Luke Lang, Crowdcube co-founder, said, “After a very successful brand campaign at the start of the year, we wanted to capitilise on our rapid growth by keeping our pitches as live as possible, giving every investor – new and existing - the opportunity to get involved. For some of the brands it means having an advertising presence very early on in their growth. For investors, it allows more and more people to invest in young and innovative businesses.”

Mike Rose, managing director at Chapter, said: “Crowdcube is going from strength to strength. Having worked closely with Luke and the team very early on, Crowdcube is now attracting a new wave of investors as well as a high calibre of brands looking to fund on their platform. This campaign demonstrates Chapter’s ability to get close to our clients, but also the exciting new brands Crowdcube are helping to grow.”

Crowdcube, which enables entrepreneurs to bypass the traditional business angel, venture capital and bank finance routes – giving them more control and greater access to investors, has now funded more than 250 businesses that have raised over £83m between them. Investors are free to cherry-pick a stake in innovative businesses that traditionally would have been restricted to corporate or larger private investors. The Crowdcube platform now has over 175,000 registered investors.
