YouTube tasks viewers with picking the decade's top ad: 20 videos from brands such as Pepsi, Nike, Volkswagen, Dove and Budweiser
Over the past 10 years, brands of all shapes and sizes have come to embrace YouTube as a platform for their own creative expression, by making ads that people want to watch - and share.
YouTube, partnered with the Webby Awards and selected the top 20 ads over the past 10 years. There are six European ads in the top 20, out of which two are from UK.
Furthermore, the public has been encouraged to vote on their top ads in order to crown a brand with the definitive ad of the decade title.
Over the next 10 days, users will be able to pick the top ad from a choice of 20 slots, with the world’s largest brands including Pepsi, Nike, Volkswagen, Dove and Budweiser all included.
