MEC’s global chief talent officer joins Populist board

Media agency MEC has announced that its global chief talent officer Marie-Claire Barker has joined the board of directors at Populist.

Populist is a non-profit based in New York that brings together marketers and their creative skills to tackle social problems.

In her new position as board director, Barker will help drive the vision and shape the growth of the organization. She will be tasked with engaging the marketing community as a whole through social marketing enterprises and initiatives.

Grant Tudor, CEO and founder of Populist, said, “I’m thrilled that Marie-Claire will be joining our Board. She has been a committed advocate of Populist since we launched, and will continue to be an essential bridge to the marketing community at large. Her expansive experience, and her passion to help shape the future of the organization, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our community of marketers working in service of social innovation.”
