Next 15 Communications has announced the acquisition of programmatic advertising technology business, Encore while revealing a growth in revenue of 10.9 per cent to £109.2m.

The group, which released its annual results, bolstered by client wins with Time Warner Cable, Vimeo and Twitter, saw its operating profit increase by 44 per cent to £12.7m.

Group organic revenue grew by 6.1 per cent and the group's US arm increased by double 11.3 per cent.

Richard Eyre, chairman of Next 15, said: "Next 15 continues to make good progress with strong revenue growth in the US and an improving margin performance from its operations in the rest of the world, notably the UK.

"The acquisition of Encore and investment in Animl, which we've announced today, are in line with the group’s strategy of investing in businesses that deliver great content, insight and the technology that enables these. The group has got off to an encouraging start to its new financial year, with trading patterns of the last twelve months continuing."

Next 15 has taken a 30 per cent share in Animl, a specialist digital marketing consultancy that works with Unilever.
