The Drum has published its annual Designerati, a list celebrating the 100 most influential individuals in UK design.

Following a call to the UK design industry to nominate its best-loved designers, the list was ranked by judges of this year's Design Awards organised by The Drum.

Topping this year's Designerati is Jaguar design director Ian Callum, who was honoured last night at The Drum Design Awards, where he was named Designer of the Year.

Callum joined Jaguar in 1999, where he and his team created, amongst others, the R-Coupe, RD-6, C-X75 and C-X17 concepts.

Closely following Callum in second place is head of design at Waitrose, Maggie Hodgetts, while Burberry's Christopher Bailey is ranked third.

The Designerati, sponsored by Workfront, is a diverse mix of designers from backgrounds ranging from branding and technology to fashion and product design.

The full list is now available at The Drum Designerati microsite.
