Kik Interactive, which is in part a popular messaging app among millenials, is seeking either to recieve corporate investment or to be acquired.

The Ontario based company which claims to have about 200 million users, is reportedly in talks with potential buyers and investors in both Asia and Silicon Valley.

Kik’s chief executive and co-founder, Ted Livingston, confirmed the news to Bloomberg Business; “We had a lot of inbound interest, especially this year,” he said. “We’re talking to pretty much every company to see what a partnership might look like.”

At its last valuation in 2013, the company was worth $250m.

In March, US broadcaster NBC announced a partnership with the app.
