MasterCard and Mashable have teamed up to bring the “Priceless” elevator pitch to South by Southwest (SXSW).
A wordplay on MasterCard’s ‘Priceless’ tagline, the effort gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch to venture capital firms for a chance to win $15,000.
“You never know where the next big idea might come from—sometimes it just takes a little encouragement and the right opportunity,” said Jay Singer, group head of U.S. commercial products at MasterCard. “That’s why we’re bringing the Priceless elevator eitch to Mashable House. We want to support the entrepreneurial spirit in our cardholders.”
The competition is only open to MasterCard holders, and will conclude when the winner is chosen on March 15.
