UK Top Shazamed Ads: Facebook enters the chart with Madonna's 'Just Like a Prayer'
Facebook has entered The Drum's Shazam chart with piano versions of 'Like A Prayer' by Madonna and 'Close to Me' by The Cure.
Robert Smith's post-punk band and the queen of pop have earned the social networking site ninth and tenth place respectively in this week's chart.
Both provide the score to Facebook's first ever TV spots, which aim to underline the social network’s role in everyday life and the meaningful connections which can arise through its use.
Meanwhile, DreamWorks' movie 'Home' enters in third place this week with The Hives track 'Hate to Say I Told You So'.
And Fiat holds on to the top spot for the third week in a row with 'Just a Cloud Away' by Pharrell Williams, whilst Boots sticks at number two with Jessie J's 'Sexy Lady'.
The charts are based on the number of times each ad has been Shazamed over the past week using music identification app Shazam.
