Sony Mobile signs up Real Madrid star Gareth Bale as brand ambassador
Welsh forward Gareth Bale has signed an exclusivity partnership with Sony Mobile to put the Xperia Z3 smartphone series through its paces.
The Real Madrid star will display how the smartphone improves his daily life on and off the field as part of the agreement. Bale will also be able to use the Xperia’s remote play feature to catch up with his gaming on the PlayStation 4 system from his smartphone.
Gareth Bale, Sony ambassador, said: “I’ve been a massive fan of Sony, ever since I got my very first Sony PlayStation and Sony Walkman, now I am thrilled to become an ambassador for Sony Mobile.
“Using the Sony Xperia Z3, they’ve combined the best of gaming, music and a phone, the Remote Play feature twinned with the 2 day battery life is incredible.”

In addition to taking up the role of ambassador, Bale will also meet and greet eleven lucky fans who buy an Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact or Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact this month.
