Kanye West simulcast reveals Adidas originals collaboration
Adidas has announced the release of its collaboration with Kanye West through an online simulcast to reveal the Adidas Origins, Yeezy Boost.
The company has described the limited edition sneaker as “exquisitely designed featuring beautiful yet simple materials. The silhouette transcends footwear trends and champions the next way of thinking about sneaker fashion. Featuring adidas’ coveted boost cushioning technology, the YEEZY BOOST will combine the ultimate in comfort and performance with high-end style.(sic)”
The screening of the announcement, which was simulcast across the world through West's website and at 42 theatres, also included a performance by Vanessa Beecroft.
Adidas and West tweeted ahead of the event to build hype and promote an online countdown to the beginning of the simulcast.
