Samsung has furthered its emphasis on wearable technology with the launch of a video featuring British cycling star Keira McVitty making use of the South Korean firm’s new Gear Circle headset and its many Bluetooth enabled features.

The film, created by digital agency Jam, showed how vital wearable technology was to McVitty. From listening to music on her smartphone, to connecting to friends wirelessly while training at a velodrome, the ad showcased the range of features the ‘Gear Circle’ boasts as part of the ‘On My Way’ campaign.

Jam executive creative director Sean Chambers led the project and selected art direction. The ad was written by Drew Wolf and directed by Cristiana Miranda.

Chambers said: “The ad aims to fuse lifestyle and fashion with technology and by using British rising cyclist star, Keira McVitty, we were able to produce this stylish and energetic film to promote Samsung Mobile’s great new tech wear.”

The one minute 40second long slot was shared on Samsung’s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
