Zany Old Spice ad invites men to get ‘shaved in the face’
Male body wash and fragrance brand Old Spice has cemented its reputation for off-beat promotions with its latest commercial in which terry crews, the face of Old Spice, takes a razor to ‘unruly face hair’.
‘Nightmare face’ is an attempt by the male beauty specialists to promote their branded shaver range as a cut above the rest.
The incoherent ad opens with a Crews confronting a bearded man on the street before setting about his chin armed with a shaver. This triggers an unexpected burst of explosions before Crews wakes up in bed next to his wife, a part also played by the actor.
Crews (the original) subsequently falls on a selection of razors to be dismembered in a shower of further explosions.
