Global Blue hires Blue Rubicon's Craig Le Grice as chief customer officer
Blue Rubicon's chief innovation officer Craig Le Grice is to join Global Blue, the tax free marketing services loyalty business, as its chief customer officer.
Le Grice joined Blue Rubicon in May 2013 to work with the business in UK, Middle East and Asia.
He will take up his new role at Global Blue, which aims to help foreign travellers on their shopping and spending needs, in November.
Based between London and Geneva, he will be responsible for global marketing services, loyalty, business intelligence and corporate marketing.
“Blue Rubicon is one of the smartest and most capable environments I've ever worked in. What's more, the people are outstandingly nice too. That's a rare combination,” Le Grice told The Drum.
“I joined Blue Rubicon to lead a program of innovation - including creating a proprietary knowledge management platform that reflects the business' ability to compete with the large consulting firms. That program reached a natural and successful point of realisation recently and will continue long after my departure.
“The Global Blue opportunity is one that plays to all aspects of my professional and personal strengths and interests. I'm sad to be leaving Blue Rubicon but delighted to be joining David and his team at an exciting time,” he concluded.
According to Global Blue, it works with 270,000 merchants and 100,000 travellers every single day, in 43 countries.
