True, the digital marketing agency, has announced the appointment of James Caig as its head of strategy, after poaching him from Isobar where he performed an identical role.

Marking 10 years of business which recently saw them move into new offices, the appointment will dovetail with the launch of a new website later in the year.

Caig has 15 years’ experience in the digital advertising and media strategy sector, latterly serving as head of social strategy at Isobar from 2013.

Tim Jones, founding director of True said: "A genuinely lovely bloke and an inspired digital thinker, James could have walked into the job of his choice anywhere in the world. What has drawn him irresistibly to True is our curious chemistry of analytical thinking, creative intelligence and energising team spirit. We have built True on forming strategic, long term, mutually profitable engagements with our clients - a model that suits James down to the ground."

Caig added: "True are smart people with bold strategic ambitions. My challenge is to help them kick-on to the next phase of growth. This is an agency that's going places - I can't wait to get started.”

True’s clients include the likes of Fuller's, npower and global food supplier apetito.
