NHS launches ‘Immunise your Selfie’ flu campaign in Liverpool
Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust (LCH) has launched a campaign to encourage NHS staff to get the flu vaccination to protect patients this winter.
The campaign will appear on posters, postcards, banners and screen savers in the trust’s health centres and staff buildings across Sefton and Liverpool between now and January 2015.
It plays on the ‘selfie’ phenomenon and features health staff and patients from across the Trust posing for a selfie and highlighting their reasons for getting the flu jab.
Over the coming weeks, all of the Trust’s workforce will be encouraged to join them in receiving the flu jab and to share their own ‘flu selfies’ with colleagues on social media to help reinforce the message of how important it is to be immunised.
