Virgin Media Business appeared to ‘drive’ across the Thames in a stunt to show now the company can help SMEs ‘cross the divide’ to success.

The company offered free taxi rides to entrepreneurs across London, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield, in a special amphibious taxi service for small and medium businesses called SMECab.

The taxis featured technology and tools to help SMEs work on their digital skills, as well as a message from Sir Richard Branson and best practice case studies.

Virgin’s amphibious taxi stunt was intended to show how great technology can help companies ‘cross the divide’ that stands between them and commercial success.

It comes after the creation of an online learning hub of resources and materials by Virgin Media Business to help SMEs make the most of technology.
