Vodafone is harnessing the power of hearing for its latest promotional push, a feel good story charting the life of a deaf woman who has been able to hear for the first time thanks to new medical technology.

Devised by Dutch creative agency Achtung! the piece features music by kyteman’s Orchestra to convey the magic of a sense which most of us take for granted.

In a statement the telecoms firm said: “Vera’s been deaf since birth. Recently, she got a CI implant, giving her the power of hearing. Since then Vera has slowly been discovering the world of music, and her big wish was to experience a live concert for the first time. Together with musical genius Kyteman, Vodafone tried to make her first concert an unforgettable one.”
