Metro names Jo Mazenko as head of planning and Sean Parrott as head of trading
Metro has promoted Jo Mazenko and Sean Parrott as head of planning and head of trading respectively.

According to a statement, Mazenko has been “instrumental” over the last six months in promoting Metro’s creative planning team to agencies and has worked closely with creative director Sophie Robinson on the launch of internal creative agency Story.
Parrott moves to the head of trading role after a stint as group head, and will work alongside trading director Grant Woodthorpe. He has been with Metro since 2004 after joining as an account executive.
Steve Auckland, managing director of Metro, said: “Jo and Sean are two incredibly talented individuals who bring a lot of experience to Metro’s commercial team.
“In the last six months it’s great to see how they have both developed in their roles and made a huge contribution to the revival of the business which has been clearly demonstrated with the significantly improved revenue performances. Both these promotions are thoroughly well deserved.”
