The Prop Store has come to an agreement with Exclusive Media, the entertainment company behind the Formula One racing move Rush, to sell props and other memorabilia from the film.

The film told the story of 1970s Formula One racing rivals James Hunt and Niki Lauda (played by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl). It failed to gain as much attention as anticipated when it was released last year, eventually suffering a rumoured $10m loss.

However, Exclusive Media and The Prop Store have struck up a deal – the first time for the pair – to sell 250 original props and costumes during an online auction between 23 June and 4 July.

Items put forward for the auction include a Niki Lauda '1' Ferrari 312T – which Prop Store CEO Stephen Lane expects to fetch around £20,000 – as well as film Car 'The Mule', pit lane jackets, a James Hunt Goodwood cap and a Niki Lauda Formula 3 balaclava and gloves.
