Facebook glitch sees site go down in several countries
Facebook has been forced offline for around 15 minutes in several countries this morning after a software glitch caused the site to fail in several countries.People trying to access the service in countries as far away as Indonesia were unable to log-in, presented instead with a brief error message saying: “Something went wrong. We're working to get it fixed as soon as we can.”The hiatus saw hordes of confused Facebook refugees descend on Twitter to collectively wonder what was going on.
Facebook is back up again. In the longest downtime in recent history. Twenty whole minutes. The world can breathe again. #FacebookDown
