Microsoft is looking to help visitors to Alton Towers keep cool with its double-decker bus Windows Ice Cream Machine.

Brought to life by Microsoft and Exposure, the bus allows visitors to create their dream ice cream, with the ability to personalise the treat and add more toppings by interacting with Windows products inside the bus.

Users can play a game on the Microsoft Surface tablet to earn toppings or tweet using #makeitmine for extra sauce.

“We’re delighted to be working with Microsoft again on such an entertaining proposition. The Windows Ice Cream Machine is a fun and friendly activity, designed to give visitors the chance to experience the wonders of Windows 8 and see how it’s perfect for everything in your life,” said Tanya Weller, head of brand experience at Exposure.

Having already been trialled at Thorpe Park, the Windows Ice Cream Machine will be at Alton Towers between 20 and 29 June.
