Papa John’s has extended its Score Twice Half Price activity, meaning that Twitter fans that accurately predict what football team will score twice will receive a pizza for half price.

Customers are encouraged to tweet Papa John’s with their predictions using the #STHP hashtag – for example #STHPEngland. If their prediction is correct they can then use their Twitter username to activate a 50 per cent discount off their next pizza order.

To promote the campaign, the pizza chain has recruited Ian Wright, John Barnes, Paul Merson and Matthew Le Tissier, plus Ball St presenters Matt Holland and Marcus Spelling, as ‘Papa’s Pundits’, who will provide their predictions daily.

Andrew Gallagher, senior marketing director of Papa John’s, said: “Football tournaments are always big pizza eating occasions and, like many brands, we are gearing up to a busy period as fans become gripped by the action in Brazil. This tournament will be followed and discussed on Twitter and our #STHP activity is perfect for us to engage with fans, while promoting Papa John’s.”

The Twitter Score Twice Half Price functionality has been provided by GHMC.
