EA Sports has launched a patriotic online campaign designed to appeal to patriotic American’s and gamers as the World Cup kicks off in earnest in Brazil.

Designed to promote the studios FIFA World Cup Brazil title the campaign exhorts American’s to get behind Team USA as they battle it out in the group stages of the competition.

Brainchild of Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam the 75-second online film depicts a ‘Best of America XI’ composed of American icons including a cowboy and astronaut, team up with modern players such as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and B-boy.

Set to the music of ‘I am a Real American’ the piece was directed by Robert Jitzmark.
