Cash Generator has appointed BJL to oversee the development of a new brand strategy.

The company appointed BJL to review the brand’s in-store look, with the possibility of a new above-the-line advertising campaign in the future.

Allan May, managing director at Cash Generator, said: “As we move out of recession and into less financially challenging times, Cash Generator is perfectly poised to emphasise the more aspirational and positive aspects of its brand proposition, creating a clear distinction from the numerous pay-day orientated operators to have entered the market in recent years. We’re excited by the ideas BJL have brought to us already and we’re looking forward to working closely with them as we continue to build on the strong reputation we have built amongst our customers as the high street equivalent of eBay.”

BJL will oversee a new strategy and creative review to drive and support Cash Generator’s growth ambitions.

Nicky Unsworth, CEO at BJL, added: “Cash Generator has a superb opportunity to further highlight the enabling and empowering service it provides both in store and online; a brand journey we are very much looking forward to being at the heart of.”

The agency was appointed following a four way pitch.
